Rosselkhoznadzor said that China has opened its market for Russian beef.

The Main Customs Directorate of China approved a protocol on inspection, quarantine and veterinary and sanitary requirements and the corresponding certificate for beef exported from Russia to China. This was reported by the Chinese side in a letter sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor on January 17, 2020.

Bryansk Meat Company (part of Miratorg Agribusiness Holding) and Zarechnoye Group of Companies from Voronezh Region can supply their products to China.

Russian companies certified by China could start exporting beef from January 17.
