The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic approved a draft agreement between Kyrgyzstan, the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector on providing a grant for technical assistance for the preparation of a feasibility study for the “Meat Halal Park in the Kyrgyz Republic” project.

The project “Halal Meat Park in the Kyrgyz Republic” includes financing a feasibility study for Halal Meat Park (MHP), which brings together the various components of the production and meat processing chain - the organization of livestock feed pens, veterinary services, slaughter, cleaning, processing , packaging - in the same place.

The parties to the agreement have agreed that donors provide Kyrgyzstan with a grant for technical assistance in an amount not exceeding $ 380 thousand, of which $ 280 thousand are provided by the bank and $ 100 thousand provided by the Islamic Corporation.

Kyrgyzstan, for its part, undertakes to make a contribution of $ 50,000 to finance the project’s activities, should also provide in its budget the funds necessary to cover the cost of the project in local currency, and also undertakes to finance any cost overruns that may arise during the execution of the project .
