Chinese customs conducted video inspection of Belarusian producers of meat and fish products

The Prime Press Agency on its website reports the information of the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in China on the video inspection of Belarusian beef and fish producers conducted out by specialists of the China's General Administration of Customs. Particularly, the case touched on the producer - OJSC Brest Meat Processing Plant- and on the further strengthening of quality control of food exports to China.

According to the diplomatic mission, in the framework of inspection led by the Director of the Department of Food Import and Export of the State Technical University of China Be Kaesin and the head of the state veterinary inspection department of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus Yevgeny Sadykov, the parties have exchanged views on the implementation of the recommendations of the UN Food organization and the World Health Organization "New coronavirus disease and food safety: Guidelines for competent authorities responsible for the national food safety control system."

Chinese customs experts in real time have studied the process of production of meat exports and positively have assessed the measures taken by Belarusian producers to prevent the spread of coronavirus inspection. Following the discussion, the parties have agreed upon further strengthening of the mechanism on reporting outbreaks of coronavirus infection.
