Glazed American Beef short ribs

Serve this sticky and tender U.S. short rib rack with corn on the cob and a country style potato salad!

Ingredients:

  • 2.23 Kg U.S. bone-in Short Ribs
  • 15 g salt
  • 8 g freshly grounded black pepper
  • 20 g dried coriander powder
  • 5 g anise powder
  • 7 g paprika
  • 5 g garlic powder
  • 5 g ginger powder

Glaze:

  • 60 g honey
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 ml apple vinegar
  • 150 g chopped tomatoes, canned
  • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

1. Mix all the spices in a bowl.

2. Rub the american bone-in short ribs with the spice mix. Set aside at room temperature for 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 250°F

4. Cook the ribs for 3 ? hours.

5. Remove the ribs from the oven, brush with the glaze and cook for another 30 minute

6. Glaze: Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook on medium to low heat until thickened.
