American Beef Presentation for HRI in Tbilisi

A presentation on American Beef was recently conducted by the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) in collaboration with Meat Market at Satchashnike Restaurant, Pub & Grill in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. This event was part of a retail promotion for American Beef at the Meat Market store. The primary goal of the presentation was to showcase the exceptional quality and features of American beef, including both high-quality and secondary cuts, their eating qualities, and various cooking methods.

Chef Jorge Sevilla, renowned for his expertise in working with delicatessen meat products, led the presentation. With extensive experience gained from multiple visits to producers’ farms and training in countries such as Holland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Austria, the USA, and Australia, Chef Jorge has become one of the most prominent chefs in the region. He is currently the brand chef for Globe Gourmet retail chain in Russia and Esentai Gourmet in Kazakhstan and has previously owned a restaurant in Spain. Chef Jorge is known for his preference for American beef, stating, “Utilizing American beef, chefs can play with taste; it is more tender and juicier, suitable for any dish.”
