USMEF conducts the U.S. Beef master class on August 3, 2020 in BatumiThe event for Georgian restaurateurs, chefs, meat buyers and other HRI market players in Georgia will be held in Black Sea capital of Georgia - Batumi city on the threshold of the hot season of traditional vacations of Georgia citizens and influx of tourists. Due to the restrictions associated with COVID-19, Georgian Black Seaboard remains the most attractive area for leisure and recreational facilities for Georgian inhabitants from the mainland of the country.

The U.S. Beef master class, which is funded by the marketing programs of the Texas Beef Council (TXB) and National Cattle Beef Association (NCBA), will be performed by Francesco Manalo, the Executive Chef at 5* Monograph in Tbilisi.

Chef Francesco entered upon his career in the USA at 4* LA FOLIE in San Francisco, continued in Michelin-starred restaurant The French Laundry in California, Michelin-starred restaurants Per Se, Gilt, Alain Ducasse, Jean-Georges ib Trump International Hotel & Tower in Central Park West NYC, and in Le Bernardin, elite French restaurant by Eric Ripert in New-York, as well had a private chef experience in famous families in the USA, such as families of the Hollywood stars Mr. Robert De Niro and Johnny Depp.

Francesco Manalo, the Executive Chef at 5* Monograph in TbilisiSince 2014 Chef Francesco has lived and worked in Republic of Georgia, where as a chef-consultant was opening Holiday Inn, Lolita, Rooms Kazbegi hotels, as a owner and executive chef opened The Kitchen restaurant at Rooms hotel, Le Montrachet, Art House with Brasserie Buvette, Kharcho & Publica,Tbilisi.

The U.S. beef premium steak cuts of highest grades Prime и Choice in accordance with the USDA grading system as well as Kobe-Style beef from the USA will be introduced for the U.S. Beef master class participants.
