Temporary bans on transit through Russian territory lifted

From July 6 Russia VPSS lifted temporary restrictions on transit through Russia territory of beef imports from seven Belarus establishments, as well as poultry and sausages imports, informs press-service of the VPSS. The decision was based on results of the meeting between the VPSS head Dankvert and deputy PM of Belarus Alexander Subbotin.

From July 6 transit of beef imports are allowed from Belarus producers as follows:

  1. Bobruysky meat processing plant
  2. Postavsky meat processing plant
  3. Berezovsky plant of cooperative industry
  4. Slutsky meat processing plant
  5. ООО Akdimol
  6. Oshmyansky meat processing plant
  7. Mogilevsky meat processing plant

Rosselkhoznadzor lifts ban on transit of Belarusian beef

Until the integration of the information systems of the EAEU member states is completed, the Russia VPSS in the Notification Reception Points (PPU) on the Russian-Belarusian section of the state border will issue notifications for goods transiting from Belarus through Russia to enterprises from other EAEU countries, and then will record the fact of the departure of goods from the territory of the Russian Federation to the Russia-Kazakhstan boundary crossing points.


It was also decided to lift temporary restrictions from July 6 on the supply of poultry meat to Russia from the Druzhba Poultry Farm and finished meat products that have been thermally treated, including uncooked cured and smoked sausages, from Brest Meat Processing Plant. Products of these companies, developed from July 6, will be imported in the enhanced laboratory control mode.
