Sudden inspections of restaurants are planned in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan put forward the initiative of sudden inspections of catering establishments, Aslanbek Dzhakupov, director of the Ministry of Economic Development (MNE) of Kazakhstan, said.

“This initiative concerns only unscheduled inspections. Today, for an unscheduled check, if someone complained, it is necessary for the one to whom you are going (with the check - KazTAG) to send a notification that “they have complained about you - I will come to you”. Now the Ministry of Health proposes to exclude this notification, ”he said at a meeting of representatives of the Ministry of National Economy with entrepreneurs in Almaty on Wednesday.

According to him, this initiative in the MNE, “as in the authorized body on entrepreneurship,” has not yet been approved. It will be considered taking into account the costs for business and the benefits to society, and only then decisions will be made.

“So far this initiative has not been officially considered. But if, when considering, it turns out that the benefits to society from its implementation are lower than the costs of entrepreneurship, then such an initiative should not be considered ... They (the Ministry of Health - KazTAG) must prove that it is beneficial for society and ensure adequate safety of the population, ”noted Dzhakupov .
