Russians are not ready to eat test-tube grown meat

The NAFI Analytical Center conducted a study and found that most Russians are not ready to eat artificial meat. About this writes the "Rossiiskaya Gazeta".

Meat grown “in vitro” is the cells of animals from which they create dietary fiber suitable for human consumption. 41% of Russians are ready to include them in their diet. 59% of respondents are not ready to include artificial meat in their diet, as they treat it with prejudice.

At the same time, the survey participants named the conditions under which they are ready to eat meat "from the test tube." So 24% of respondents are ready to eat such meat, provided that it is safe and not harmful to health. 13% said that the taste, type and composition of products manufactured in the laboratory are important to them. And as many said they were ready to include artificial meat in their diet if its price was not higher than a natural product.

For 8%, the key role is played by the absence of antibiotics and other harmful substances in the composition of artificial meat. For 6%, it is important that the process of production of cultivated meat is open and understandable.

10% of respondents are ready to use artificial meat if they will not kill animals for its production. 6% are concerned about the environment in the production of this product.
