Over six months of 2020 foodstuff imports into Azerbaijan in value were 5.2% up to $766.5 million, informs agency Interfax-Azerbaijan with reference to statistics from the State Custom Committee of the country.

Meat and meat products were imported over the first six months of 2020 in volume of 25.7 thousand Mt, which is 6.7% up against last year, and in value at almost $46 million. In general, the food products share in the overall imports into Azerbaijan in January through June made 15.4%
