About 50 tons of cattle meat exported from Almaty region to Iran

The agro-industrial company Meat Processing and Service LLP, located in the Kegen district of the Almaty region, has established export of cattle meat to Iran due to state programs, the BNews.kz correspondent reports.

Within two monthsdue to the agreement concluded with the Iranian company Navak Shahab Co from Tehran, about 50 tons of meat have already been sent.

"In our district, thanks to the implementation of state programs aimed at supporting domestic producers and developing the agro-industrial sector, the number of cattle has noticeably increased in recent years. Of course, this led to an increase in export potential. So, this year in the whole region we plan to export more than 400 tons of cattle meat, ”said akim of the district Talgat Bayedilov.

It should be noted that the feeding site of this company located in the Boleksaz rural district was introduced four years ago. The complex is designed for three thousand heads of cattle. Its main direction is breeding of high-quality breeding cattle. Currently, more than 2,700 heads of two-year-old gobies are on the fattening farm, which are maintained by 35 livestock specialists.

"At the same time, this year one of the large companies of our region, KazMyaso LLP, plans to import from Australia about one and a half thousand heads of Aberdeen Angus breeding cows. To date, 800 head breeding stock has already been delivered," T. Bayedilov added.

Note that last year, in general, more than one thousand tons of cattle meat was exported from the Almaty region.
